Bendler, Nicholas final project

For my project, I tried to emulate the conecept of a time map. In essence, the idea is to show the shift in time for a single place in one image. This works great when you have a large backdrop to work against, but also the limits the sitautions in which you can use the technique (since you want most of the image to not move). Anyway, here's a couple of sample images from Cornell:

This is a simple 3 panel image, to give an idea of what's going on without a lot of noise. Here's one that's a little more intense:

You can see the moon set on the left as the time advances toward the right.

So hopefully one can see why these give the sense of time lapsing in a situation that normally requires a movie.
